The shot blasting speed of a shot blasting machine mainly depends on the following key factors:
* **Rotation speed of shot blasting machine motor:** Adjusting the motor power frequency using a frequency converter directly changes the rotation speed of the shot blasting impeller. Higher motor speeds result in greater centrifugal force acting on the shot, resulting in higher shot blasting speeds.
* **Shot Blasting Wheel Diameter:** At the same engine speed, a larger blast wheel diameter results in a higher linear shot velocity at the tip of the blade, thereby increasing the blasting speed.
* **Guide sleeve opening angle:** The guide sleeve controls the direction and concentration of the shot. A smaller opening angle results in a more concentrated shot path, less energy loss and a relatively higher effective shot blasting speed; conversely, a larger opening angle causes the shot to disperse, reducing the velocity of part of the shot.
* **Size and Density of Shot (Steel Shot):** While the shot itself does not directly determine shot blasting speed, its mass (related to the size and density of the material) affects the kinetic energy produced within the shot blasting machine. Under the same power conditions, heavier projectiles may require higher impeller speeds to achieve the same ejection velocity as smaller projectiles.
In addition, the internal structural condition of the shot blasting machine (such as the wear rate of the blades) and the stability of the shot feeding system (such as the uniformity of shot flow) also indirectly affect the stability and efficiency of the ejection rate.
