Descripción de la máquina de granallado tipo gancho

La máquina de granallado de gancho cuenta con un impulsor de alta velocidad que proyecta pequeñas granallas de acero o de hierro para impactar a gran velocidad sobre la superficie de la pieza, eliminando de este modo la capa de óxido superficial. Al mismo tiempo, el impacto de la granalla a alta velocidad genera distorsión y deformación de la red cristalina de la superficie de la pieza, lo que incrementa su dureza superficial. Se trata de un método de limpieza de superficies de piezas. El granallado se emplea frecuentemente para limpiar superficies de piezas de fundición o para el tratamiento de refuerzo superficial de componentes.

Por lo general, el granallado se utiliza para piezas de formas regulares. Varias turbinas de granallado trabajan de forma simultánea en movimientos verticales y horizontales, ofreciendo alta eficiencia y baja contaminación. En el sector naval son habituales tanto el granallado como el chorreado de arena. Su función es eliminar la pintura vieja y el óxido de las chapas de acero para volver a pintarlas. En la construcción y reparación naval, la principal finalidad del granallado y el chorreado de arena es mejorar la adherencia de la pintura sobre la chapa de acero.

La limpieza de piezas de fundición no se limita únicamente al granallado. Para piezas grandes, se realiza primero una limpieza en tambor: se eliminan los bebederos de fundición y las piezas giran dentro del tambor. Mediante el choque mutuo entre las piezas dentro del tambor se elimina la mayor parte de la arena superficial, y después se procede al granallado. El diámetro de las granallas de granallado es de 1,5 mm.

Características
