Safety precautions for operating shot blasting machines

1. Abrasive material scattered around the shot blasting machine must be cleaned up promptly to prevent personnel from slipping or sustaining injury;

2. Personnel must stay away from the machine housing while the shot blasting machine is in operation. The blast chamber door may only be opened after the shot blasting process is complete;

3. If a malfunction occurs and maintenance is required, the main power supply must be disconnected, and the corresponding control panel section must be clearly marked;

4. Protective devices (such as chains or belts) may only be removed during maintenance and must be reinstalled once maintenance is complete;

5. Before starting the shot blasting machine, on-site personnel must be notified so they can prepare;

6. In the event of an emergency during operation, the emergency stop button must be pressed immediately to halt the machine and prevent an accident.
