Natural wear: Blades naturally wear down due to prolonged contact and friction with the material. Mixer blades, in particular, are subject to significant wear because they remain in contact with concrete powder and aggregate for extended periods during the mixing process.
Lack of timely maintenance: Failure to perform maintenance during use accelerates blade wear. For instance, the blades must be cleaned immediately after each operation to remove material residues, and routine maintenance must be carried out.
Prolonged continuous operation: Extended continuous operation causes the equipment to overheat, shortening its service life and increasing component wear. It is not recommended to operate the concrete mixer continuously for more than 24 hours.
Poor equipment quality: If the equipment is of substandard quality at the time of purchase, it will wear out quickly during operation and require frequent replacement. Before purchasing, it is advisable to research the manufacturer and select high-quality equipment.
Improper spiral blade design: If the blade surface is not smooth, excessive sliding friction occurs, leading to severe blade wear. Conversely, if the surface is smooth, increasing the clearance between the blades and maintaining proper lubrication can help reduce wear.
